My family and I have recently relocated to Idaho. We have always wanted to live up north and the area we were living in has become extremely crowded and quite expensive. Prior to our move we saved enough funds for two months worth of bills and set up interviews with several companies. We did an abnormal amount of research about the area and felt very confident in our decision to move. We had great expectations. First thing a check that was written to us for the sale of a vehicle was charged back creating several fees, the job my husband was supposed to start right away ended up taking three weeks. Since we weren't able to show proof of employment we could not find a place to rent and we paid several weeks in motel bills. Our car broke down and cost us over $700 to fix. I have put out 32 applications and have been on 5 interviews without a call back. We applied for foodstamps and help out of desperation. But everything takes so long. We have to wait till the 5th of September to even go in for the meeting to get cash assistance, WIC is booked out until September the 17th. We will not get foodstamps until the 8th because of my social. Funds have run out. I have an 11 year old and school and I had to get school supplies. I can't even afford to put my other son in daycare at this point to work a job at a convient store. I am desperate. Both my husband and I have always held down employment and have never had to use assistance before. I even tried to go donate plasma but you can't take your children with you for the first visit since it takes so long. We come from famlies who barely make ends meet and have asked for help but no one can afford it right now. It will be three weeks before my husband gets his first paycheck and we need $500 to pay for another month of rent and gas. Can anyone please help???? I have prayed and cried and begged I don't know what else to do.
